Care free , curl free!
Loving your curls! This weekend my daughter joined me at the Zora Neal Hurston Festival. During the festival, several copies of "Nubia's Guide to Going Natural" was sold. It was a rewarding to encourage others to remain free of the chemicals. Men and woman gravitated to the fact that we must educate ourselves about the products we use regularly for our hair care. Remaining chemical free impacts our health. Perms and shampoos contain chemicals that are dangerous to your health. preventing cancer, Alz, and other diseases caused by our man-made chemicals are my primary focus, as a nurse for over 20 years. This book explores healthier options to hair care, and other non-traditional method people use to achieve the hair care goals.
This book takes you into my transition experience. I researched multiple things to give my hair a certain look, and I have concluded that simply is best. Honestly, if you can ingest or eat it then you know it is relatively safe for your scalp. Your skull holds your brain and any products you use regularly crosses the blood-brain barrier, so educate yourself about your products. Read the product label.
